Allegany Franciscan Ministries, Children’s Services Council of Martin County, Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County, Indian River State College, Martin County Community Foundation, United Way of Martin County, and United Way of St. Lucie County are pleased to present a new Workshop and Business Planning Opportunity:
PART 1: EARNED INCOME WORKSHOP WITH NO MARGIN, NO MISSION™
October 11th, 2013 / 8:30am-2:30pm (Lunch is included)
No Margin, No Mission™ will explore the basics of earned income revenue generation in a highly engaging, interactive, informative half-day session. As part of this unique training opportunity, participants will gain insight into earned income through understanding its most fundamental principles, and will also apply the concepts to their own earned income ideas.
Who: Nonprofit Executive Staff and Board Members (Training will be limited to a total of 75 participants on a first-come, first-served basis; no more than 2 representatives per organization).
When: October 11th, 2013 / 8:30am-2:30pm, including workshop and lunch.

PART 2: ONE-ON-ONE BUSINESS PLAN COACHING & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE WITH NO MARGIN, NO MISSION™ (Application Required)
October 14th-December 31st, 2013
As follow-up to the earned income workshop, 4 nonprofits will be awarded 1:1 coaching and technical assistance for 14 weeks with No Margin, No Mission’s™ consultants for business plan development focused on a specific earned income offering. Selection will be based on answers to a simple online application that addresses a variety of questions about each applicant’s earned income idea.
Who: Nonprofit leaders with a promising earned income idea are encouraged to apply.
When: Online applications are due September 24. / 4 nonprofits will be notified by October 4. / Business plan coaching and technical assistance will take place Oct. 16-Dec. 31, 2013.
Where: Initial business plan kickoff session will be held at the office of 4 participating nonprofits on October 14-15. / Following the onsite session, coaching and technical assistance for business plan development will take place via the phone and Web over a 14-week period.
